My primary objective is to teach you how to better understand your dog, and how to teach your dog to better understand you. As a KPA certified trainer and licensed Family Paws Parent Educator, I use modern, science-based and force-free methods to set you and your dog up for success in building life skills and solving problems. Whether you need basics for your new puppy or adoptee, are seeking to prepare for the arrival of a new baby into your dog’s life, or just want to enrich your dog’s life with more activity, I am here to help.

Learn the skills to effectively train your own dog while I coach you in fun games and hands-on activities! Initial sessions will take place in your home, but as you build your skill set sessions can also be planned for public spaces like parks and trails to practice behaviors with real-life distractions.

Build foundational skills like recall, leash manners, and stationing.

Problem solve behavioral issues like over-exuberant greetings, reactivity, or body handling issues.

Prepare your dog(s) for the arrival of a new baby, or work as a family to have clearer, safer canine communication skills.

Services:

In-Home Training

Available in Sacramento / Rancho Cordova /Carmichael. May be able to travel to surrounding areas with a fee. Contact me for details.

Initial Consultation: $150
A consultation is required for all new clients. Consultations last up to 90 minutes depending on your dog's history and needs. This is an opportunity for us to discuss behavioral challenges, learning history, and goals. From this initial session, I will create a training plan for your dog and family.

Pay As You Go: $100 per 1 Hour Session

Packages:

3 Sessions for $270 ($30 savings)

5 Sessions for $425 ($75 savings)

Note: packages must be paid in full and are non-refundable.

Behavior Support

Live outside my service area and still need behavior support? Try one of these services:

Remote Consultations: $90
Remote consultations can be via phone call or Zoom and last up to 90 minutes, depending on your dog's history, the information you need, and your goals. This is an opportunity for us to discuss behavioral challenges, learning history, and goals. From this initial session, I will create a training plan for your dog and family and send it via email. Additional consults are available to support you through the training plan with continued guidance.

Online Support: $9 - $75
